CAP is a private non-profit human services and community development corporation, located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Their mission is to assist low income families to become self sufficient and less dependent upon public assistance.

Solanco Food Bank
The Solanco Food Bank is a joint ministry between the Solanco Ministerium and the Community Action Program (CAP) of Lancaster County. The food bank serves needy families of 14 townships in southern Lancaster County. In an average month, approximately 35 families are provided with emergency groceries adequate to fill their needs for six days.
